SEO companies from different countries often outsource their Local SEO work, either because it’s more cost effective or due to lack of in-house resources who can do the job well.
As a hardcore SEO company, we provide White Label SEO services for companies who want to outsource their SEO work.
While we prefer providing Local SEO services in the form of complete SEO packages, there are few independent Local SEO activities that can be outsourced individually.
Building Backlinks
Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote by page A for page B. These links are called as backlinks. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.”
Backlinks are very important for Local SEO just as they are for other type of SEO services. They help in building your site’s reputation and trustworthiness.
There are various resources we use to build backlinks for Local SEO, here are some of the more popular ones:
Directories: Though directories are a traditional method of link building but if done in the right manner, it can really push Local SEO efforts to a completely new level. Directory links include things like Industry Directories, Business Directories, Big Directories and very specific Niche Directories as well.
Guest Blogging: Guest posting is still a great way to get backlinks, but still has to be done very cautiously. Quality is much more important than quantity. We use high quality local blogs or industry-specific blogs for creating links from guest blogging.
Local Press and Local newspapers that do features: Local Press and newspapers are a great source of information about local events and cover local topics with great content. We use such publications to showcase your business by writing for them and providing them the type of local content they cover.
Blog Marketing: Blog marketing is an ultimate strategy for link building which should be done on a regular basis. We create and promote useful local resources by providing helpful information through these blog posts. In turn we create links back to the main target pages, which help drive traffic to the main site.
Citations: Online citations like Google My Business, Bing Places and Apple Maps Listings, are an amazing source of high quality backlinks. We widely use them to create quality backlinks.
Citation Cleanup
The Citation of a business is any mention of that business on the internet. Citations can consist of just the name of the business but generally consist of the Name, Address and Phone Number (NAP) of a business.
In citation cleanup we ensure that the citations of a business are correctly displayed across popular online websites such as YellowPages, Yelp, Google My Business, Bing Places, Apple Maps Listings, Angies List, Chamber of Commerce, City Insider, Citysquares, Cylex USA, EZlocal, Foursquare, Hotfrog, Kudzu, LocalPages, Manta, YahooLocal, InsiderPages and Judy’s Book.
Content Development
Content is certainly one of the most important factors in SEO as it helps Google to make connections in between the webpage’s relevance and the search query, relevance being one of the topmost ingredients in Google search.
When we create content for our clients we keep a lot of things in mind. We always create "cornerstone content" which is evergreen, original and highly informative, something that other websites would love to link to.
To assess the “quality” of a page or an article we answer some key questions about that article/page. These are the kinds of questions that even Google’s expert engineers ask themselves as they write algorithms that attempt to assess site quality.
Think of it as their take at encoding what they think their users want. Here is what Google’s top search engineers would regard as a high-quality site when it comes to content:
- Would you trust the information presented in this article?
- Is this article written by an expert or enthusiast who knows the topic well, or is it more shallow in nature?
- Does the site have duplicate, overlapping, or redundant articles on the same or similar topics with slightly different keyword variations?
- Does this article have spelling, stylistic, or factual errors?
- Does the article provide original content or information, original reporting, original research, or original analysis?
- Does the page provide substantial value when compared to other pages in search results?
- How much quality control is done on content?
- Does the article describe both sides of a story?
- Is the content mass-produced by or outsourced to a large number of creators, or spread across a large network of sites, so that individual pages or sites don’t get as much attention or care?
- Was the article edited well, or does it appear sloppy or hastily produced?
- For a health related query, would you trust information from this site?
- Does this article provide a complete or comprehensive description of the topic?
- Does this article contain insightful analysis or interesting information that is beyond obvious?
- Is this the sort of page you’d want to bookmark, share with a friend, or recommend?
- Would you expect to see this article in a printed magazine, encyclopedia or book?
- Are the articles short, unsubstantial, or otherwise lacking in helpful specifics?
- Are the pages produced with great care and attention to detail vs. less attention to detail
Backlink Analysis & Cleanup
Backlink analysis is often required for websites that had followed bad SEO practices to create backlinks. However the issue only comes to notice when the website suffers from a manual or an algorithmic Penguin penalty.
There are a number of steps involved in the process of backlink analysis & cleanup such as:
Backlink extraction: We find links using tools such as Ahrefs, Backlink Watch, Google Search Console, Link Research Tool, Majestic SEO and Open Site Explorer to extract the links for a website.
Backlink analysis: Once we have a compiled list of links we find out the links that were just made for the purpose of SEO or were built using black hat techniques.
Contact website owners and try manual removal of the bad backlinks.
Create a file with bad backlinks and upload using the Disavow tool (mostly only in case of manual penalty): On October 16, 2012, Google launched a tool that enables the website owner to disavow links to a site. If someone has been notified of a manual spam action based on “unnatural links” pointing to your site, this tool can help us address the issue.
File reconsideration requests until the matter is resolved (required only in case of manual penalty): Reconsideration requests are intended for sites with manual spam actions. If your site’s visibility has been solely affected by an algorithmic change, there’s no manual action to be revoked, and therefore no need to file a reconsideration request. If you’re unsure if it’s an algorithmic change or a manual action, and have found issues that you have resolved, then submitting a reconsideration request is fine.
Social media optimization
Social media optimization is a great strategy for Local SEO as it encourages local users to connect with a business and also helps in improving your rankings.
Building great profiles and regular updates on popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest is part of the Social Media Optimization activities that are generally outsourced.
Website design and development
Companies often outsource their website development requirements as it is a highly technical task. It’s true that popular CMS like WordPress and Drupal have made this task easier but with the level of functionalities available in the simplest of websites, even managing a WordPress website isn’t that easy.
While developing a website for the purpose of Local SEO there are many UX related issues which have to be kept in mind. Web User Experience has a very wide meaning and forms an essential ingredient in Google’s ranking algorithm.
It includes aspects such as your page-speed, it’s layout, whether the site is responsive or not, how much above the fold content can be easily seen by website users, including very specific aspects like how easily users can find the content they were looking for and whether your site uses breadcrumbs or not.
As a White Label SEO service provider we take special care and guarantee non-disclosure of our client’s confidential information. If you have any similar requirements please feel free to contact us using the website forms or you can also email us at ceo@seowebup.com
